American Staffordshire Terrier - Gia - Medium - Adult - Female
Hello there! My name is Gia and I am patiently waiting for my forever family! I have had a hard life and before being picked up by animal control, I was living in a junkyard :( My former owner's wanted me to look mean, so they cut my ears off with a knife. It hurt so much and every time someone cleans my ears, I panic a little because I remember the searing pain that day. My rescue doesn't know how I came to have hundreds of puncture marks all over my body and I can't tell them. They currently have me on medication for the infection which they put in my food. I don't mind taking it because they feed me delicious food and as much as I can eat! It was rare that I was able to eat everyday in my former life :( Everyone here has been so nice to me. I feel happy and secure for the first time in my life. They take me for car rides, which I love! I get to sleep on a couch everyday and it's so relaxing. Baths are kind of scary, but they always say I'll feel good after so I let them wash me. They also say I have lots of character and personality, so I'm hoping to steal the hearts of a very special family. Please pick me, I will love you forever!
